Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend was offered hospital visit, attorney says

Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend has declined the chance to visit her in the hospital, Bobby Brown's attorney said.

In a statement released Saturday, Christopher Brown, Bobby's Brown attorney, blasted media reports of Bobbi Kristina Brown, saying, "The numerous fictional reporting involving Bobbi Kristina continues and Bobby Brown's request for privacy clearly has not been heard by all members of the media. Unfortunately, sensationalism remains high as various news affiliates appear determined to undermine the criminal investigation with its erroneous reporting."

(NBC) -- Doctors caring for Bobbi Kristina Brown inserted a tracheostomy tube in her throat on Wednesday to prevent any infection from her breathing tube, a source close to the family told NBC News. ATLANTA (WXIA) -- Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon is hopeful that he'll be able to visit her in the hospital soon.

In a statement issued Wednesday afternoon, Gordon's attorney, Randall M. Kessler, said he isn't visiting her in the hospital to avoid confrontation with her family.

The statement said:

"Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively. He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."

Seniors recover memories through the power of music

ATLANTA -- At A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab at Wesley Woods, in Rosemary Bauer's room, it's time for therapy.

"Is it okay if I put the headphones on?" music therapist John Abel asks the 99-year-old woman.

Bauer is not learning new skills. She's recovering old memories. She smiles as she recognizes a line in the song.

"Does he sound like your husband did?" Abel asks.

Bauer, a retired piano teacher says, "Music is part of your soul."

Abel, who uses the Music and Memory program with many A.G. Rhodes residents, says he's seen the music do amazing things, from improving movement, to stimulating memory.

"Music memories last longer than other memories," he says.

For some, music is all that remains.

"You feel okay? You look really pretty today," Linda Mabry tells her mother.
