ATLANTA -- There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

On Saturday morning, the Old Forth Ward is hosting a party, called Atlanta Streets Alive! The parallel Atlanta Streets Alive! The party will be off-limit to cars from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The best way to get around to Edgewood, Boulevard and Auburn Avenue will be walking, skating or biking. The Streets Alive project will feature healthy activities like pickup soccer and food trucks from the Sweet Auburn Market.

‘Tis the season for football camps and two Atlanta Falcons are starting the season off right. Chauncey David and Jonathan Babineaux are co-hosting a one-day free clinic at Grady High School for students aged seventh through twelfth grade. Registration for the camp starts at 9:00 a.m. and the camp starts at 10. Grady is located at 929 Charles Allen Drive in Atlanta.

Tonight, Newton Park on Old Alabama Road will be showing popular family movie, “Gulliver’s Travels” starring Jack Black. Newtown Park is located at 3000 Old Alabama Road in Alpharetta. The movie will begin showing at dusk.

The Sweet Auburn Curb Market will be hosting a pop-up chocolate market from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Five dollars will get you in and guests are able to sample all sorts of creative chocolate morsels that range from $1 to about $5, each.

Join the 28th Annual Magnolia Run at Perimeter Mall. The run raises money for medicine and children’s camps for epilepsy patients. The 4-mile run begins at 7:30 a.m. and the one mile fun run gets underway at 8:30 a.m.

Atlanta’s premier live, work, play Atlantic Station is launching a new market on Saturday morning. The half-street market will feature up to thirty vendors who will offer artisans items each second weekend of the month. The market will be located at 17th and ½ Street from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Get your tickets for the Willie Nelson Country Throwdown at Coolray Field, today. Willie Nelson will be performing along with a number of others beginning at 3:00 on Sunday afternoon. Tickets will range from $39 to $79. Coolray Field is located at 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville.

In Alpharetta, animal lovers have a chance to come together at the Animal Rescue Fair at Willis Park Equestrian Center from noon until 5:00 in the afternoon. The event is free with a donation of pet food, which will be donated to local pet kitchens. Dogs and cats will be available for adoption. Willis Park is located at 1825 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta.

The First Annual Brookhaven Beer Fest will be held on Apple Valley Road in Brookhaven starting on Saturday, June 11 at 3:00 p.m. The festival will be held from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tickets to the Beerfest range between $35-$45 and they will feature about 153 beers, two rock bands and a commemorative cup. The event will be held behind the Brookhaven Marta Station and proceeds will be donated to the Brookhaven Arts Alliance.
