DeKalb County mall visit entices $619K Fantasy 5 win

ATLANTA – Visiting Northlake Mall in DeKalb County was the outlet one Stone Mountain granddad needed to win an extraordinary jackpot prize. Curtis Alligood of Stone Mountain matched all five winning numbers from the July 31 Fantasy 5 drawing, winning $619,977.

Winning numbers from the drawing were: 3-15-20-24-28.

Sun Newsstand inside Northlake Mall, 4800 Briarcliff Road N.E. in Atlanta, sold the lucky Quik Pik.

Alligood, 81, said he called the Georgia Lottery’s Player Information hot line after the televised drawing and wrote the numbers down.

“I was in disbelief,” he said. “I told my wife, and she was surprised.”
