John Smoltz to Visit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta | Community Spirit

Next week, The Aflac Cancer Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta can add another name to their list of celebrity visitors. Former Cy Young winner John Smoltz will deliver gifts to children at the Cancer Center on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Smoltz, an eight-time All Star is teaming up with SunTrust and MasterCard to present the kids with $5,000 worth of holiday gifts.

Following his visit, Smoltz will be broadcasting live to all three Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta hospitals from THE VOICE, a broadcast media center recently built as an initiative of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation for patients to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media.
